Echoes From The Tomb.

 HOT MONDAY BLUES..

THE DOWNSIDE OF A GOOD DAY..

I thought the day had gotten off to a fairly good start, I got up made coffee and showered and shaved even had breakfast while I surfed the stream before moving on to work. When I got there the new transfer from night shift (an old friend of mine) and me were told that one of the guys that stayed on nights had quit because he said that the foundry was getting too damn hot. Javier did two set ups on the casting machines and I poured almost five hundred pistons total before lunch, we were just cruising along having a kick ass day, then all of a sudden around 3:00 pm or so the wind came up and the sky got really dark, we thought it was going to rain until the clouds drifted off, so we’re looking out the rear bay door at the back of the foundry and javi and me see some smoke plumes up on the hilltop about 8 or 9 miles behind us, it was a brush fire.. And man was it a doozey! We kept an eye on it the whole rest of our shift and long about 5:45 pm the wind shifted in our direction, and just as I was leaving to punch the time clock to come home, the flames were cresting the top of the hill, the way the wind shifts and changes direction so fast up there it could turn around and head back down into the canyon, the bad news there is, there’s a lot of dry sagebrush throughout that whole area, lots of fuel for a hungry fire, and there isn’t a whole lot BUT fuel between there and Virginia City. If they don’t stop it soon, it’s a lose/lose situation either way, well as you can see I made it home in one piece but who knows what’s in store for tomorrow, guess I’ll have to wait and see..

 THE "X" PAGE ( EXTENDED EDITION #4.)

WELCOME BACK TO THE "X" PAGE..

A CRUMPET FOR THE QUEEN.

This morning as I drug my mindless tired old ass out of bed, and staggered to the coffee pot to where I usually hover for the first bliss filled hour of every new weekend, I paused there for a brief reflection of the past evenings events.. It seems as I study those reflections that conspiracy theory’s abound here on the Stream, I thought about it as I slowly moved from kitchen to bathroom to begin shaving my mindless animals face.. According to some. (Or should I say One.) every problem on the Stream can be contributed to one factor. “Coloconnect” now I’m really thinking about this, could it be true? Is Colo REALLY to blame for every bad thing that happens here? Or maybe I read that wrong and that isn’t what Kenoath was saying at all.. I know, let me go back and read that part over again on his blog and see if I’m getting his argument strait.. Oh that’s right.. I can’t, he keeps taking down old arguments and putting up new ones, C’mon man stick to the story please, if you really want to believe that everything that you say about her is true then why do you keep taking down your old posts and putting up new ones? Leave the original complaint up there so everyone can see for themselves, don’t hit and run, stand and deliver.. You have a problem with her, no.. wait.. Your problem is with her friends , when you attack her we circle around her and move into protect mode, because.. We’re.. Dependant? We’re emotionally needy? Or she’s emotionally needy?? What the hell did you say man? I wish You would have left that shit up there so I could have read it when I was fully awake.. Let me try to explain a couple of things here and maybe it has something to do with it and maybe not.. After all I’m not suppose to make sense being a dumb animal of the forest and all, Speaking only for me.. Coloconnect IS MY FRIEND! She has never asked me to come and read her blog, I do so willingly because I like the way she writes and enjoy what she has to say.. I have never seen her verbally speak out against someone unless it was in defense of her name, (A right in America that everyone shares.) and most importantly.. If you want to berate the rest of us for sticking up for her, that’s fine you do that, but we do it because that’s what friends do for each other.. The truth is simple Colo isn’t anyone’s problem, she’s their friend, she has as much of a right to be here as anyone. Did I read that Mr Ken likes being a ghost in the Machine? he likes being bad? Well I think its safe to say that he has succeeded with the bad part, or at least the really annoying part, and as for the ghost? Maybe its time for him to consider letting go of some of that anger he’s seems to be so fond of and just go towards the Light.

FROM DROPS TO RIPPLES

I read this morning where Sir William of “The Good the bad and the Ugly” blog had a run in with some of my stinky little friends. Skunks never seem to do what you expect them to, every encounter that I have had so far (Knock on wood.) I’ve escaped the wrath of the spray and managed to get away un stinkified, You need a laugh? Check out Sir William’s Story on “The Good the bad and The Ugly.” it probably wasn’t funny for Sir William Though.

Notice: for those of you who have expressed concerns for Mr P being in time out, relax Asa has released the slightly humbled Tiger from time out and has returned his blog to him, Mr P will remain in control of it until he screws up again. Woogie Cat… you may stand down now.

Oh man I just have to say this.. If you want to see something really cool you need to go check out some of the stuff on the new “River and Pop Project” blog, they obviously put some serious effort into it and it is definitely worth a look as is anything else Pop’s or River do on their own blogs. Lots of cool stuff on this one though, check it out.

Well, I found yet another new blog floating around out there and thought that the title, (in spite of the authors own uncertainty.) was rather unique, although there isn’t a lot of post yet I think that this one has some potential so I’m making it my New blog pick of the week. Its called: “Wrinkled apples- fruit of my mind,” by Jester of Alba. This one could be something, and deserves at the very least a look..

Hope everyone enjoys their Friday…… Scratch.
