Surviving The Wasteland..
They are separated by only a dimly lit computer screen, and tiny words that barely pass for any language, that slowly spread themselves across it. “Do U like Video gamez?” there is a slight pause to allow the vague response. “Ya I do! Do U have n e kool ones?”……… “Oh.. Ya.. Lotz… btw.. How old are U?” and the child on the other end answers coyly… “twelve.. U?” ……. “Thirty five.. Would u like to come over and Play with me?” I’ll just stop it right there you already know the rest of it anyway. See the sad thing about this is, that both of these people are real, the twelve year old girl is really a twelve year old girl, and the thirty five year old man is really a thirty five year old man.. Both are real.. But only one realizes that this is wrong.. Or at least they should.. Welcome to the world of the most despicable predators on the net.. The world of the internet Pedophile.. They hide in chat rooms .. They lurk in every known corner of the infinite wastelands of the internet, yes that’s right, I said wastelands.. Why? Because that is where tens of thousands of the slime balls hibernate while waiting for your children.. They hide and watch.. Lurking in chatrooms, studying kids in places that they like to hang out, learning the talk, learning what excites them, and taking notes of every word that is spent, so they can use it against them.. They learn how to talk like kids to lure kids in, and when they do, they try to trick them into crossing over into the real world to meet with them, sometimes the attempt fails miserably.. But the scary part is, sometimes it works.. And when it does , the results can be devastating. Have I got your attention yet? Thousands, maybe even millions, of kids every year across the world fall victim to internet predators, to pedophiles who feed on them. The only way out is education. Talk to your children let them know exactly where you are standing at all times, educate yourself to educate them, predators such as these, act without conscience or remorse, and just need to feed, and we all here on the net, need to be aware of where exactly these dirt bags are hiding, so when we see something suspicious, we can drag it into the light. I’m not trying to be a preacher here mind you, this is just a friendly little reminder. a computer is not a babysitter, and if you leave a child alone and unprotected in front of this screen for a very long period of time, their innocence will die.. Very quickly. Something to think about.
Missing In Action.
There is a very special person that has always been near and dear to this ol Tomb Keeper’s heart, she left us awhile back but did not deactivate her blog like so many others have.. I don’t know why, I can’t really say for sure, but for some odd reason it struck me that maybe she would pop in and happen to read this, if through some miracle of fate she does, I just want her to know.. We love and still miss you here Miss Pie, and we think about you often.. I for one hope you are well my friend.. Love and miss you.. Scratch.
Wally man, what can I say about him that all of his friends haven’t already said about him, his blog “Scram Gravy.” So cool, so hip and funny man in the short time Wally was here the laughs we shared with him were so priceless.. Your friends still think about you Buddy.. And we still miss you terribly.
There was another blog that was on the stream awhile back that was really good too, it was called “Those were the Days.” by Stuart. Another great blog, another great writer, that unfortunely left for permanent vacation.. Stuart disappeared without a trace.. Never to return.. Perhaps yet another victim of the Blogstream triangle.

Because I’m goofing around in the Blogstream Chatroom too much.. Okay , okay. Guilty as charged. But I did manage to find yet another pretty cool blog for my new blog shout out, its called “Out Of My Mind- Back In 5 Minutes.” by Ace Decker.
I enjoyed this blog for all of the usual reasons Its informative and frickin Funny.. Funny is good check it out..
My second blog Pick the verdict is still pending but I’m very hopeful for it, its called “My Two Quarters Worth” by Bizilady, seems that she wants to tackle some controversial stuff without fear of hurting anyone’s feelings.. Maybe I read it wrong but at any rate.. Good luck with that..
