Echoes From The Tomb.

 Almost Here.

In honor of my favorite holiday I am working on a special post, I of course am talking about Halloween. hopefully I will get it posted before the holiday but until I do I have decided to repost a quirky little thing from last year called "The Halloween Odyssey" so ready or not here it comes..

The Halloween Odyssey.

Twas a dark and stormy night outside The Tomb to be sure! And there I sat by A flickering light, reading the poetry of Dylan Thomas, with Edger Allen Poe looking over my shoulder, “hey Ed? Do ya mind? I’m reading here!” So, the candle is flickering- (damn Power Company!!!) flicker , flicker, flicker and, flicker. Because to be sure that is what candle’s do, the cold wind howled mightily and the rain blew across the empty dark forbidding street, ( I know, I know, sounds like something out of a Karloff movie)by the flickering light my eyes grew heavy with slumber, and I slept, Moments past and my slumber had been stole away from me by echoes of ominous footsteps lumbering heavily up the wooden planks of the side stairwell of The Tomb, In my half awaken state I suffered confusion, and knew not what monstrous form awaits me round the corner. Perhaps a half man, half dog creature, has come to eat my flesh and bathe in the warmness of my blood! But ho Demon! Ye shall not take me without struggle! For with sword in hand I shall fight thee from hells heart to my dying breath! But What? Perhaps a man dog it is not! For even a devil such as he could not tread such a heavy foot, Hhmmm. Prey tell what then? Perhaps a monster of a different sort gathered in whole by limbs and organs of the dead, a monster of decaying flesh and flat head, but ho!! Nay the wooden planks by the Tomb sides be could not support such weight!! What then?? A vampire?? or perhaps a witch or ghoul? A republican? A democrat? What then for me round yonder corner waits?? With sword in hand I shall confront thee demon, I creepeth to the corner and spy curiously round it, and there the rascal I see! A short hairey stumpy fellow of blackened fur and white stripe! And bushy tail raised on high! Prepared to do its evil upon my very stoop!! I say thee nay demon!! Be gone! Return to that dark cold night from which spawn ye! Make not your dreaded pee pee on my doorstep! Alas, he has another deed in mind and has departed! But Ho!! Lucky am I !! For a more frightening monster I shall never see!!!.. Scratch…©.2oo5

have a great week everybody.

The Monday Monologue. sometimes this place makes my brain itch.

AAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!

There are many , many things that I like about being here on the Blogstream, and there are a few that I don’t like, of course the good will always out weigh the bad. We do have our moments here don’t we my friends?, one of my favorite things about being here is being allowed to speak my mind and to write whatever I choose, and to read or not read whatever I choose, to make friends here with whoever I choose. See a pattern here? Well I suppose we must accept the bad with the good, and that being that EVERYONE be allowed to have their voice, that does not however mean that I have to read what they have to say, anymore than they have to read my words. I have come to the realization that there will always be these ass clowns who seem to be starved for attention, so they will go to any lengths to get it. Some people like to play their pathetic little games with people and the only way they succeed is if we choose to play along, (You Know Who You Are.) no more games for me, if you don’t have enough nuts in your sack to come out and say what’s really on your mind, and to say what your beef is without the role playing bullshit, don’t waste my time or yours.. Sometimes all you can do is put on some tunes and just let it go.. Yeah that’s the ticket.. Whatever you say.. Jerkoff.

 One for Scratch.

I get to listening to people talk about the different kinds of music that they listen to and I shake my head. Some will only listen to country, some will only listen to classic rock, for other’s its rap or alternative or this or that.. Me? I’ll take two of everything, man I will listen to just about anything that has something to say, and a few things that don’t. this is a band that I used to listen to back in the late eighties and nineties. Its an acquired taste I know, and perhaps it’s a little too hard rock for some but sometimes you just gotta do something for yourself.. This is one of those times for me.. Happy Friday everyone. Peace out.

 The Monday Monologue. Fighting Spirit.

There are people in the world you know, first sign of trouble they fold like a card table. No fight in them at all, no will to stay up or even survive, whatever the adversity. When I was young I knew a few people like that, they would talk a big fight, but when the chips were down so were they. The first one’s to turn tail and run are always the biggest talkers, and what about you? You end up getting knocked on your ass because the people who swore that they would have your back weren’t there when it counted. Its called fighting spirit, the will to keep swinging even when you know your going down, no matter what the odds, you never give up on yourself no matter what the cost. because you know what every fighter knows, be they male or female, in life, It isn’t about how many times you get knocked down, its all about how many times you get back up.

Laters Kids I’m out. Scratch.

 Soul Circus

We have spent one year here, or a little more than a year, merging ideas, sharing of ourselves, with each other. Each spirit here, a unique entity in its own right, enlightening others with their words, from their own perspective. Here we see, without ever seeing, know without ever truly knowing, fingers extending from the void to touch that which may never be physically touched. Welcome one, welcome all to this Soul Circus.. Where nothing is as it may seem, and yet everything bleeds familiarity. One year ago. THIS soul sat alone, by the light of computer screen, This soul was about to embark on a journey of the mind and spirit. “Are you ready for this?” and as it descended onto this Place where Shadows and the light both hold equal power, this one soul met others like it. It was home here. In this place where distant lighthouse’s shine their brilliant light through the haze and guide you safely to the shore. This place where Raindrops fall into fields of daisies and cast their own lights. This magical place where Polar Bears dance with us and share their wisdom, this place where salty old sea captains spin their tales of good versus evil. This place where Pranksters entertain us, make laugh, think and cry. This place where even monsters dwell, even though they do not make themselves readily apparent. This place of many Souls. Young and old, weak and strong, each swept away by the magic.. Of this place. And to the new travelers that brave this path, I say be wary, step light, and extend your hand in friendship, but be wary of the hiding monsters, just look to the lighthouses, the Polar Bear’s, Daisies and Pranksters, they will lead you.. Through this incredible journey.. Welcome one and all to this magical Soul Circus..
Enjoy your stay.
