What an odd week it has been for me, first of all I go to work on Monday only to be told that I would be learning how to data entry on the company computer system. I did it though, and I’m still learning new things like warehouse inventory adjustments, and loss sales applications. I never pictured myself sitting behind a desk but I guess anything is possible. But all of that was just the beginning, I get home on Monday, and find that I have no internet service, so I reset the modem thinking that maybe there was a power outage or something, but after an hour it went out again but came back on sporadically, I managed one small post and that was it. I ended up calling Charter communications last night and after dealing with their automated customer service attendant I finally got to talk to an actual living breathing human being, (I think so anyways.) who proceeded to tell me that my area, was part of a internet service outage and there wasn’t anything to worry about, it would be fixed anywhere between three to seven days. So that’s normal? She even had the nerve to become indignant with me when I asked that very question. I don’t get it, These clowns charge us obscene amounts of money to get this service, and then when its interrupted it seems as though we don’t even have the right to ask why we aren’t getting what we’re paying for, without some half assed air head getting smart with us because we have the audacity to expect them to do their jobs and answer a few simple questions. Customer service in this country is quickly becoming a bad joke. Ah well, hopefully its water under the bridge, and my weekend will see me with uninterrupted internet bliss. I can hope so anyway.
Scratch.
That Poor Leno Song... arrrrggh! the more I listened to it the more I wanted to puke! this is more like it!!
Since last night, my internet has went down at least four times usually for two hours at a time, I am not certain yet if the problem is with Charter communications or my computer , but so far, everything on my computer checks out ok. so until I can get them to come out and fix it, I may not be around for a little while, I will keep writing and post when I can. later my friends..
Well I said that I would be here for Saturday night and lo and behold!! Here I am! this is a group of songs that I was listening to when I wrote parts one and two of The Dragon’s Legacy, the new Asa the Dragon story that I have been working on over at the Scratchwork’s blog, as anyone who has been reading it has Probably figured out, I hit a snag on the Demon Chronicles story that is going to take a little bit of working through, but I should have that one back on track soon as well. And if you haven’t been reading it.. Hey no harm, no foul, I’m used to talking to myself. In the meantime let there be Dragons. I’ll be in and Out all night, hope everyone likes the tunes.
Okay.. I have been thinking about something for awhile now and it pertains strictly to people here on the stream. Okay picture this. Your blogging along minding your own business and all of a sudden out of the blue, some chit head shows up and starts getting nasty with you. Being a smart azz, shooting off their attitude, you know.. Real chit heads.. Come on now, I mean the stream is full of them. People who just like making an azz of themselves starting crap with other bloggers, just because they need a little attention. They live for conflict and when there isn’t any to be found they go make stuff up. Well now this has got me curious about something, something that I don’t recall ever being discussed, is there proper etiquette that you should follow before you say enough is enough and you block the idiot? I mean sometimes I’m like, okay, maybe this person is just having a bad day and I just happen to be next on their list. So how long do I have to let this chit slide before I get pissed off enough to say no more? Well screw etiquette, from now on I’m swinging that ax right away. Screw that! If someone offends me and they think that they going to get away with it, Right or wrong I will delete their sorry butts, and then block them. And this includes PM’s. I am just curious what everyone’s opinion on this is, how long do you take it before you block and delete?.. Oh and that reminds me.. Speaking of delete, I have to swing by PolarB’s blog later and pick up another can of “Bitch Be Gone.”
Have you ever set out to do one thing and end up doing something completely different? On one of my recent excursions up to the hill I set out to find a pair of grey or black cargo pants, they are the most comfortable thing to ride a bike in besides a pair of sweats. Anyhow I looked in several different places and couldn’t find anything, Marshall’s, Old Navy, Wal Mart, Gottchalks and Mervyns and JC Pennys. Needless to say nobody had what I was looking for, so I decided to swing by Borders book store and I made a rather pleasant discovery.. Sit yourself down now, this may come as a great shock to some of you, but I have a confession to make. I am somewhat of a Dragon freak. I like looking at them, and reading about them, and even on occasion, I like to write about them. (Coincidently.. I am presently working on a new Asa story.) anyhow I go into Borders and Bingo there they were, two kick azz Books about my favorite flying, fire breathing reptiles.
Although I haven’t yet found the time to sit myself down to read and fully enjoy these two gems, both of these Dragon vehicles are now in my possession. I am returning to the hunt this morning since I have a three day weekend, so who knows what other things that I will come across that I am not really looking for. I love it when that happens. See you all at the Blog crawl tomorrow night.
