There are people here that GET it and some that DON’T get it, some people are here for the experience, while others are here for the attention. Me? I don’t need attention, I’ll take the experience’s here good- (and lately) the bad. I have heard that these lists are just that, Lists, nothing more, nothing less, I would be cool with that if it were true, but I know it isn’t . I know that there are still people here who’s true intent hides just beneath the surface, although this ISN’T about popularity, there are still some people who see this as a popularity contest, and go to such lengths as bullying and harassment thru private messages to get their desired attention. Yes the lists are just lists, but they are also used as an excuse to pick fights with other people who may be a little higher up on the food chain so to speak. When Sherry and I both heard about this, we both tried in vain to get people who received any sort of harassment pm’s to post them without any success, because its difficult to accuse and prove without a smoking gun. here’s how it needs to happen, you report the abuse to Pioneer, he steps in and deals with the problem accordingly. Such is life, I am going to chalk this one up to experience and put it to rest as a huge misunderstanding, I am tired of defending and explaining myself, and I won’t do it anymore. I shouldn’t have to, Sherry shouldn’t have to, Our track records here should speak clearly for themselves, and If anyone here thinks that I write anything based on popularity they clearly don’t know me anyway.. I’m moving on. With caution.. I have a new idea to hatch, and I will start working on it as soon as possible. Hopefully I will be working with a new computer soon so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. See.. Let me attempt this again.. I don’t believe, (nor have I ever.) that any one blogger here, or any group of bloggers, should aspire to be greater than this community as a whole. There are a lot of new people that come around and struggle to find their place here, and without feeling like they are a part of something special, (which I believe Blogstream to be) They are more likely to give up and leave, rather than stay and try to compete with established bloggers for attention. I believe all that these so called “Lists” do is the bring Detriment to the community concept by creating a competitive environment where people become obsessed with getting to the top of the heap rather than focusing on the content of the community itself. I need to head down the banks of this here stream and find a quiet spot to sit and think..

Cast Your Bread upon The Water.


When Sherry first came up with this providing links to new bloggers that are trying to find their voice here on Blogstream, I wondered how it would be received. Would people actually visit the links we provided?.. Well the jury is still out on that one, but I feel it is my duty to once again remind those of you who frequent my little Tomb page here, as to our Motive into this joint venture if you will. This isn’t about Popularity.. Sherry and I are both fairly well established here, and that isn’t really an issue with either of us, no not that.. It isn’t about getting high Comment content, we get enough of those too.
This isn’t about Sherry or me, Its all about the New Blogs and Their authors, and of course making them feel welcome here so they stick around longer than one or two posts before getting discouraged and dropping off of the great big waterfall at the very end of this stream. It begins each third morning of the week very much the same way, with a slight flickering of the eyelids, maybe followed by a slight yawn, then by a good stretch of the arms and legs. Minutes later you hear the beeping of the alarm clock, soft and faint at first then slowly getting louder by the second, as if it almost sense’s you trying to ignore it. You been dreading this morning for the whole week, and as you sit up and scratch your chin, you know what you have to do big man, that desert sagebrush protruding from your chin has to go, And it has to go this morning. So you set the coffee pot get it brewing, and head for the shower, taking as long as you possibly can, thinking up every excuse in the book why you should wait another day or so, before you drag that disposable switchblade across your delicate mush. First the shave cream, now gently hoss…..careful, check for pimples bumps and abrasions under that sagebrush, make sure the surface is nice and smooth. that’s it now slowly drag that Gillette disposable, that’s it… skin it big man… careful now……. UGH!!! ………..MEDIC!!!!!!……. I’m Hit… White man down!! Why do we do this to ourselves? Who started this chit anyways?? We can put men into space and build computers and atomic bombs and chit, but we can’t find a safe way to remove facial hair without looking like Freddie Kruger dry shaved us while we were sleeping.. Ladies I feel for you too, shaving your legs and pits and all, but damn… Somebody Call NASA!!!!… I’m sick of this chit…. Coming out of the bathroom every third morning looking like I got mugged by a roll of Toilet paper!! Okay.. I have made it my duty to find some answers as to where this sadistic ritual came from.. Or My name isn’t…. ISN'T… well you know..
