Echoes From The Tomb.

 This Just In.

Been home for an hour now, got the coffee pot cranked up, and I’m showered and awake and in the mood to engage a little in one of my favorite pastimes, of course that would be Blogging. Sure I’ve been in a rather mellow mood but that isn’t what I have been noticing in other people as of late. In the past ten days or so I have noticed a lot of peoples attitudes changing rapidly. People seem a lot more aggressive and just plain ol mean and angry. They cut you off in their cars on their way home from work. They shake their fists at you if you look at them cross eyed. And don’t get me started on how they behave when you are out shopping, they do many of the same things only they aren’t quite so obvious about it. They’ll cut in line in front of you in the blink of an eye, (If you let them.) and then when you say something, they get all defensive like,
“Oh.. Sorry.. I.. Didn’t.. see you… there.” Lady I’m over six feet tall how did you NOT see me from three feet away? And then it struck me.. Holiday season.. Oh yeah.. that’s right they’re going to blame it on the season.. How about this.. Take a deep breath.. thaaaat’s it! Feel better now? Now just remember Bullwinkle.. You’re not the center of the universe.. There are a lot of OTHER people around you many of whom who have just as many problems as you. How about trying to exercise a little bit of patience? I know that your in a hurry.. I know you have things to do. Yeah I know.. Busy, Busy, Busy. Me too.. Silly me.. I thought that this time of year was supposed to bring out the best in people.

Well kids.. I tired my best to stick with QuestionStream.com but alas my interest in this pursuit has fizzled out quicker than a flat soda. I tried it, I really did. But as it turned out there were just too many people there that I didn’t recognize and a few of them got a little too pissy on some questions, and I even got insulted once. so I said nope I don’t need that kind of shit. So back to the tried and true for ol Scratch, good ol basic blogging. On the best damn Blog site on the web period. I took a few days off to let myself recharge and now I think I’m ready for the weekend , I got a couple of things lined up that I have been thinking about, I’m working a brand new angle for the Demon Chronicles, and I have been pecking away at the next two installments of the Cherry Creek Prophecies.. But First I need to wrap up the Saturday Night music post for Scratch Radio. So for now I bid you Adieu.

Later on..

 Thank you.

I would like to take a minute to thank everyone for their birthday well wishes on my last post, I really appreciated them thank you all so much. I will be in and out for the next few weeks as work is really going to start picking up at the shop, so I am bracing myself at the possibility that I may be asked to work some overtime in the near future. As for this weekend I am working on a new post for Scratch Radio for Saturday night, as well as a few other things. After work I’ll be around tonight. So if I don’t see you then I’ll hopefully see you all on Saturday. Once again thank you from the bottom of my scaly little heart.

 Just Thinking in text.

I have a vivid memory from my youth that I revisit from time to time, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face. I don’t recall the exact time frame in question but I think that I was around ten or eleven My step brother and I were left home alone, (or so we thought) to fend for ourselves for the night. But unknown to us my mom had left instructions with my older brother that he was suppose to keep an eye on us. Information that he neglected to share with us. (No Doubt on purpose.) seems as though he and one of his Friends were outside waiting to hatch a scare plot on my step brother and I. they waited until dark and slowly moved around the outside of the house making loud thumping noises no doubt trying to scare us. Unknown to them we were sitting on the sofa watching an old Frankenstein movie and we were too involved in the intricate plot works to even notice.

My step brother didn’t like the dark much, in fact he hated it with a passion, which made us exact opposites, it didn’t bother me in the least to go out with a base ball bat and patrol the area for varmint, but you couldn’t get him past the porch light. Knowing this,I think they were counting on us to be crying little babies at the thought of something being outside the window trying to get in at us. So, it was about an hour or so into the movie when Michael first heard the thumping noises coming from outside. At first we were a little put off that is until we caught them in the act. We saw Isley Blackwell, (The Accomplice) hiding in the bushes outside the living room window, and it didn’t take a couple of eleven years olds long to figure out what was going on. So we hatched a plan of our own, knowing that my mother was the only one that had a key to any door in the house, we locked down everything including the windows and doors and wouldn’t let them back in.

Living in the country we had a lot of Coyotes. My older brother hated coyotes. The way they would yelp and howl, in the pitch black it sounded eerie, and when they showed up that night in the back yard it couldn’t have been more perfect. They were howling and moaning and yelping, and my brother and his buddy were banging on the back door to get us to let them in. they threatened.. They screamed.. They called us dirty names.. They were scared shitless.. And the two eleven year olds that they were trying to pull a school boy prank on were safely tucked away inside a warm house laughing their asses off. Mom came home around ten thirty or eleven and they were still out there. She let them in and I think they only thing that saved us from getting our butts kicked by my bro was that we would tell everybody that they knew, who the real chicken shits were. I don’t know what made me think about that tonight.. Maybe I’m just bored.. Maybe I was just missing my bro tonight. (God rest his Soul.) maybe its just because its dark outside..

Well.. I think that I'm going to be out of here for a few days y'all be good. Laters..

 Finetune.. Free & Legal..

There are some of us here that have recently expressed concerns about embedding music players on our Blogs.. Are we doing something illegal? Are we supporting Piracy? Where does the music actually come from? How do they obtain the music? All legitimate concerns. Well seeing as how I use Finetune as my music source almost exclusively, I presented that very question to our friends in the Finetune Support staff.. Here’s what their response was.

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in Finetune. Finetune is completely free and legal, abiding by the terms set forth by the DMCA.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMCA

This is precisely why you can only add 3 songs per artist. Here's some more useful info from our FAQ pages:
Why do I need at least 45 songs from 15 different artists?
A. This allows us to comply with requirements related to Internet radio and keep the cost of our service down. Creating a big enough, diverse enough pool of music prevents users from listening to specific songs "on-demand". On-demand listening requires a special, more expensive license because the record labels consider it to be a substitute for buying music.
Furthermore, we have established license agreements with all the major Record Labels and have paid them bulk sums for the music for which we have streaming rights. Thus, you will never be held accountable for any royalty fees to Artists.
Let us know if this helps. Thanks!

-Finetune Support

I If You have anymore Questions, I suggest you contact the support team of whatever is your music choice be it Imeem, or Project Playlist or any other music source..
Hope this helps.

Sunday Slide show.. (Hopefully it will work)

I came across this cool little widget site where it has a morphing picture slide show so I thought that I would give it a try.. the pictures are not related in any special way, they are just some that I have used from my pictures folder. I put one up at Scratch Radio that was relative to the post over there. but this one is just another test.
